As we gear up for swim season we want to encourage you to consider serving ILBC as a stroke and turn official. Our team is required to provide these at each meet- home and away. The more officials we have trained the more we can share the load. This counts towards your family's volunteer obligations- including any shadow sessions.

Questions or wondering if it's for you?

You do NOT need to be a swim expert or even a former swimmer. There is great training and opportunities to shadow current judges before going solo. Certification Procedure:

1. Pick the Date and Location that is best for you.

2. Complete this form:

GASL Officials Training Sign-up Form

3. Sign the attendance sheet on the day of your training.

Upon completion of the in-person training session your name will be added to the list of certified officials for this season.

Only GASL approved officials will be permitted to judge competition.

*Returning officials will need to attend training unless USA/Y certified*

Already USA Swimming/Y Certified?

Current USA Swimming/Y certified officials should please complete the above form and also submit a copy of their credential at the above link to be listed as a GASL official. You do not need to attend GASL training.
