3 Action Items for This week

Welcome to the end of June. Its a busy week at ILBC so please read carefully and check for the blue action steps to make sure your family is ready to go.
1. Friday Team Pictures and Pizza Party 5-7pm. The picture will be at the START of the time. Please help us by having your swimmers dry and on deck at 5:00pm. After pictures families may swim. The team will have pizza for the swimmers. Families may elect to buy additional whole pizzas for adults/siblings in the team store starting tomorrow. Action Item: Please RSVP for your swimmer so we can ensure we have enough athlete pizzas.
2. Bay Hills Meet on Saturday: We are still missing a significant number of RSVP for the meet Saturday and still need one more job filled. Action Item: Make sure you RSVPd for your swimmers for this weekend.
3. County Meet Sign-Ups due this week by Thursday 12:00pm: Reminder that the County meet sign up is due this week. This is a super fun - optional - meet for your swimmers. You can sign up in the normal meet sign up and choose up to 3 events (note you must have a time to enter an event- "NT" are not accepted). For more details see the bottom of this email. Action Item: Sign up for the county meet and pay for entries in the team store before Thursday at 12:00pm

Each year ILBC participates in the Annual AA County Swim Meet at the Severna Park Community Center.
This is an optional meet but a lot of fun- the kids can dive off blocks, swim against other teams outside of GASL and win ribbons and medals. We had record participation last year and won the meet!
The details:
1. Events: Each swimmer may swim up to 3 individual events- of their choice! You must have a time to swim (no NT). Each event is $8.75 and this is paid by the swimmer (you!). The team pays for relays and we try our best to have at least one relay for each swimmer (please let us know if they don't want to do relays at sign-up) To sign up: Just like a normal meet- go in and select the meet and RSVP and pick you events.
2. Date and Time: July 10th: 11 & Over Boys & Girls Warm up: 4:30PM Start: 5:30 PM
July 11th: 10 & Under Boys and Girls Warm Up: 4:30PM Start: 5:30 PM
3. Volunteering: We will need help! We will need help lining our kids up (lane organizing), stroke and turn and timers. Plan to volunteer for 1/2 a meet if your kiddo is swimming. Sign-ups coming later.
4. Payment: Once signed up head over to the team store and pay for your entries. The quantity should be equal to how many events your child is swimming- so if swimming three events please choose quantity 3. You're not signed up until you have paid!
5. Waiver: Each swimmer needs an online waiver. You can complete that here: AA County Meet Waiver
